Initial Consultation – $150.00
The initial consultation begins in your home and lasts approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours. During that time, I will review your dog’s behavioral history, determine what is causing the behavior, and show you how to change those behaviors where applicable. This is an essential first step for designing an individualized treatment plan to manage and/or modify your dog’s behavior.
Consultation includes:
- Observation and evaluation of your pet’s behavior
- Explanation of your pet’s behavior and suggestions for improvement
- Handouts and other helpful resources as needed
- Demonstration and practice during the initial visit
Behavior Modification Follow-up Sessions – $125.00
Depending on your goals; follow-up sessions may be scheduled about a week or two after the initial consultation to assess progress and fine tune the training. These are 60-minute sessions. Additional follow-up sessions may be needed depending on the severity of the behavior problem and how your dog is responding to the treatment plan. Depending on the nature of your dogs’ issues and/or if a significant amount of time has passed since the last appointment, a longer follow-up appointment may be recommended. The number of follow-up appointments past the initial behavioral evaluation appointment will vary depending on the nature of the problem, your goals and the progress that you and your dog make.
Please fill out and email a Progress Report Form at least 3 days prior to each follow-up appointment . The Progress Report allows me to assess your dog’s improvement since the last appointment and make adjustments to the treatment plan according to your feedback. Progress reports can be found in the forms section of this website.
Multi-Dog household – $200.00
Please fill out a separate Behavior Survey for each dog in the same household.
